Description

Roullet VSOP Grande Champagne

This cognac has a deep golden color with amber shades.

A complex bouquet with aromas of citrus, peach, sandal wood and light leather notes. The taste is round and well-balanced with silk tannins.

Visual aspect: attractive moderate golden colour with light amber and greenish sheen.
Nose: open nose with pretty aromatics of apricot marmalade, dried peach, candied tangerine and orange zest, very fine oak notes of vanilla, aeration reveals notes of saffron and oriental fragrance, scents of cigar leaf and leather showing layered complexity.
Palate: round and smooth with moderate body and balanced alcohol, the mid-palate is full of dried apricots, peach marmalade and orange zest complemented with fine oak notes of charred wood, sweet spices, caramel and vanilla, the finish is really persistent with scents of spices and roasted hazelnuts.
Pairing: perfect digestive! Enjoy with chocolate truffles with candied orange.
