Roullet VS Grande ChampagneTASTING COMMENTS BY RAIMONDS TOMSONS — Best Sommelier of Europe 2017:
Visual aspect: beautiful light golden colour with light amber and greenish reflections.
Nose: fragrant and open nose with candied lemon, pear and orange zest, light floral scent which adds freshness, aeration reveals peach marmalade, delicate spiciness with vanilla and caramel, very attractive and youthful nose.
Palate: moderate weight with a slightly sweet attack of vanilla and caramel notes complemented with dried peach, candied citrus and orange zest, very discrete oak flavours of caramelised wood, warming and spicy finish with wellbalanced alcohol.
Pairing: perfect on its own, could be perfectly enjoyable in summer with one ice cube or in cocktails or with sweets and desserts dominated by caramel.
