Elegant and well-balanced cognac with quiet melted tannins, which underline the aromas of vanilla, dried fruits, nuts and almond, dried apricot and orange peel. TASTING COMMENTS BY RAIMONDS TOMSONS — Best Sommelier of Europe 2017:
Visual aspect: intense golden colour with amber sheen and touch of greenish reflections. Nose: complex and layered nose with an attractive evolution showing very fine oak influence with cardamon, vanilla, toast, dried apricots, pineapple and orange zest, beautiful perfume of dried flowers, aeration reveals smoke, leather, humidor and roasted hazelnuts, notes of marzipan and nougat, very complex. Palate: full, expressive and spicy with very fine oak flavours of sweet spices, vanilla and caramelized hazelnuts, very fine-melting tannins and good sense of freshness, warming but well-integrated alcohol, the mid-palate is full of dried fruit character, spices and bitter chocolate notes. A complex palate with good balance and very long finish. Pairing: perfect digestive. Great with a milder style cigar!
